“How will this help me?”
Often, it’s tempting to ask that question when the opportunity to help a stranger presents itself. Helping friends and family is easy, but someone you’ve never met before? That doesn’t come as naturally.
There are people in dire need of assistance all around you, people who are wrestling their own demons or have to struggle to get by every day without suffering. Every one of these people is an opportunity to help–and reap the benefits.
This beautiful commercial doesn’t demonstrate that you should help without expecting anything in return. Rather, it shows that you will, indeed, get something in return–something huge, and something priceless. Get the tissues out, because this one will hit you right in the feels.
