Inspirational Quotes To Help You Get Through Monday!

by Bella McKenzie

It’s Monday… Ah, the smell of office stress, deadlines, endless meetings, house chores, and the list goes on. It’s time to get your mind and body going because it’s going to be a long week! At least that is what you anticipate.

Mondays seem to be the most abhorred day in human history. Certainly, with the endless mounds of work to do at the start of a new week, Monday just doesn’t seem like the ideal way to finish an enjoyable weekend.

Yes, you have to get up early in the morning in order to start checking away at a long to-do list, but don’t let Mondays be any less inspiring than any other day of the week! Here are some inspirational quotes for Monday morning to help you get going. These quotes are almost as good as your morning coffee!

“You cannot be happy, or at least not stay happy, as long as you see yourself as being simply a grown-up with responsibilities: you need to play, to travel, to make wild assumptions of how life would be on an alien planet if you were a robot, to make plans to conquer the world, to taste cooked bugs, (insert fun or absurd thoughts/actions here). The time you put in will come back amplified in the form of creativity and energy to be the grown-up.” –Sorin Tănasă

“There is always more on its way – more opportunities, more ideas, more love. Think abundance — always think abundance. Belief in abundance is the source of all generosity and peace. Know that there is enough. Know that you are enough. Know that you have enough. Enough time, enough talent, enough love.”  –  Glennon Doyle

“If you are stuck and lost right now, and you are wondering what you’re supposed to do with your life next, I can tell you only this: You are supposed to find your courage.” – Elizabeth Gilbert

“Remember one thing only: that it’s you – nobody else – who determines your destiny and decides your fate. Nobody else can be alive for you; nor can you be alive for anybody else.” – E. Cummings

“I hated every minute of training, but I said, ‘Don’t quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion.’” – Muhammad Ali

“I don’t know anything about luck. I’ve never banked on it, and I’m afraid of people who do. Luck to me is something else; hard work and realizing what is opportunity and what isn’t.” – Lucille Ball

“I do not know anyone who has got to the top without hard work. That is the recipe. It will not always get you to the top, but should get you pretty near.” – Margaret Thatcher

“Talent is cheaper than table salt. What separates the talented individual from the successful one is a lot of hard work.” – Stephen King

“Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognize how good things really are.” —Marianne Williamson

“Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined.” – Henry David Thoreau
