Do real men wear hats? How about necklaces? According to Jeannie Mai, Celebrity Fashion Expert and Style Network Host, the answer is a resounding “yes”. Jeannie shares advice about how guys should accessorize to pull together the best look and not be just another “dude”.
What accessories are in style for men right now?
The question is – what accessories aren’t? Accessories are fundamental in men’s styling; it is essentially the most important detail that brings a men’s wardrobe to life. Otherwise, he’s just another dude in a t-shirt and jeans. How can men pick a good hat? Are there certain styles better for some guys vs. others?
Men should absolutely consider a hat that brings out the best of their jawline. (It’s a fave feature for us dames!)

Fuller forehead, top heavy face: Trick here is to find a hat that will balance the bottom portion of the face. A crown of medium to short height is ideal. If the back and sides are rolled, this can lessen the impact of a fuller top half of face. A homburg hat is a must try. Go ahead, Google it!
Long, thin face: A hat that has a low crown and a wide brim will offset the length of a long face. Tilting the hat back and to one side helps balance the face even more, and brings sexy way back. A bowler is “Mai” classic pick.
There really are no hats that are out per se, but I would kick back on the fedoras for now. Thanks to Britney and every other starlet who hides their unwashed hair…it’s kind of played out.
